The core specializations matching Elements+Arcane is tidy, but not remotely diverse in practice, with many builds using the same traits, and the limited weapon selection lacking a clear sense of purpose. It has incredible dmge potential (3/5 PvE top dps builds are ele atm) very strong in support & pugzerg dps in WvW and 2 meta roles in pvp aswell. after the removal of aegis spam on FB, the halving of scourge barrier, and the absolute gutting of battle scars on revenant, the only classes with innate self sustain on their highest dps builds are power scrapper (impact savant), condi virtuoso (jagged mind), and power reaper (soul eater). every other class, power or condi, has to take a dps .
